Congratulations to the head of our group Professor Yevhen Yashchyshyn, Ph.D, D.Sc., who has been nominated a Tenured Professor by the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda on December 2, 2016.
Pursuant to Article 25 of the Act on Academic Degrees and Academic Title and the degrees and ranks in Art, the President of the Republic of Poland shall award the professor degrees to the employees of the art and science as well as academic teachers.
The application for title to be awarded is made by the Central Committee for Degrees and Titles and the decision on the award of the professor title is taken by the President of the Republic of Poland by order. The individual acts conferring the subject professor title are received by professors from the President.
